Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our Nepal High-Point Trekking staff and guide with warm welcome then transfer to your hotel in centre of Kathmandu city, after getting refreshed in your rooms join for group briefing regarding your stay in Nepal, where guides will provide information of the trek- local lodge-hotels-culture and other necessary information related to this trekking.

Day 2

Free day in Kathmandu trek preparation with optional tour around world heritage sites.

In Kathmandu, a free day reparation for Ghorepani and Poon Hill trekking with optional sightseeing around Kathmandu, as the valley is steeped with many world heritage sites and important monuments and religious-historical  sites.


Day 3

Fly or drive to Pokhara 860 m (30 mins on air) -06 hrs overland ride.

Morning after early breakfast transfer for a long drive of 5 to 6 hours of exciting drive to reach at scenic city in Pokhara, located Nepal Mid-West a warmer country but with incredible views of Annapurna Himalaya that reflects on its calm Begnas and Phewa Lakes. On reaching at Pokhara then transfer to a nice hotel by the lakeside of Phewa Lake, with to wander around the lake shore full of stores, shops, restaurants and hotels. (For interested people can take 30 minutes of scenic flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu).

Day 4

Drive to Nayapul or beyond and trek to Ghandruk 1,940 m - 05 hrs.

With pleasant nigh-stop at Pokhara, morning leads with short drive to reach starting point of the trek at Nayapul town and beyond Bhirethati village, a nice place on the side of Modi River. Journey leads end of the drive near Syali Bazaar where walk starts heading slow uphill trail past farm villages overlooking cascading waterfalls entering farm areas and then climb to reach at Ghandruk, one of the largest Gurung village of Annapurna region. Ghandruk, a nice village enriched with deep culture of Buddhism and ancient heritage custom with traditional farm life facing views of Annapurna peaks.

Day 5

Trek to Chomrong 1,955 m - 06 hrs.

From Ghandruk morning walks up hill on stone paved steps all the way to reach a high ridge top and the on nice trail with short climb to Kimrong hill a place with few tea-shops and lodge, and then on downhill whiten deep cool forest to reach at Kimrong river valley. After a short rest walk starts heading towards uphill into villages then entering forested and farm areas where few hours climb reaches you at  Chomrong, a large Gurung village as well last permanent farm settlement on  route to Annapurna Base Camp and Sanctuary.


Day 6

Trek to Dovan 2,130m via Bamboo 2,050 m - 06 hrs.

Morning at Chomrong facing views of Annapurna peaks, where walks  heads with short descend to cross a bridge over Chomrong stream and then climb  to Sinuwa, located on high ridge with couple of Tea-House and shops.  After a short refreshing stop at Sinuwa where walk leads to forested  areas with winding ups and then downhill into dense woodland within bamboo  stalks to reach at Bamboo, a small settlement to cater the needs for trekkers with  many good lodges to stay, located in a river gorge surrounded by forest of  rhododendron trees with pines and bamboo. From Bamboo walk leads on gradual ups with uphill to reach at Dovan for overnight stop, located above Modi River in a gorge a small place with few lodges for travelers.


Day 7

Trek to Machhapuchare Base Camp 3,720 m -06 hrs.

After peaceful overnight at Dovan, our adventure heads closer to our highlight as walk leads with winding ups into forest to reach at Himalaya Hotel, located close to large overhanging cave called Hinko, which is beneath Annapurna South and Huin-Chuli peaks. From Himalaya Hotel downhill near Modi River and then short climb reaching at Deurali, here onward tree lines drops for short alpine bushes, after Deuarli walk continues with climb following Modi River to Machhapuchare base camp for overnight stop after a long day walks. Machhapuchare Base Camp located at the bottom of Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ North Face.


Day 8

Trek to Machhapuchare Base Camp 3,720 m -06 hrs.

After overnight stop at MBC (Machhapuchare base camp) an easy and short morning walk to reach at Annapurna base camp, from Machhapuchare where Annapurna Sanctuary begins all the way to base camp, walk leads with short ups to reach a flat ground on a plateau reaching into Annapurna Sanctuary enclosed within series of giant peaks, and then walk leads you right at Annapurna Base Camp. Reaching our final destination and highest point of the adventure at 4,130 m high situated beneath towering Mt. Annapurna and range of other peaks of Vara-Shikar, Gangapurna with Annapurna South. Annapurna Base Camp, the only base camp in all Himalaya regions having facility of nice and cozy lodge with nice food menu and rooms facing grand views of Annapurna peaks.


Day 9

Trek to Bamboo 2,050 m - 06 hrs.

Today a long walk after enjoying beautiful views of mountains at Annapurna base camp, walk leads to more than six hours on downhill with few short ups to reach at Bamboo place for overnight stop within back into tree lines and lush vegetation.

Day 10

Trek to Jhinu-Danda with hot spring 1,700m / 5,577ft - 06 hrs.

Return journey leads you back at Chomrong walking ups with downhill and then from top of Chomrong hill our route diverts to new trail to reach at nice hill village at Jhinu located on a ridge with grand views of rolling hills and mountains. Jhinu provides refreshing natural hot-spring for interested people which is a mere distance downhill of half hour to the hot spring with two nice warm pools close to raging Modi-River.


Day 11

Trek to Kyume on the road head and drive to Pokhara -05 hrs.

Today last day of the treks after an amazing time around high hills of Annapurna, morning walk leads on downhill past farm villages following Modi River downstream to reach lower warm farm areas at Kyume village, where drive takes you back at beautiful Pokhara near its serene Phewa Lake for overnight in the comfort of nice hotels.

Day 12

Drive or fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Having early breakfast where interesting drive brings you back in Kathmandu, as drive departs from Pokhara (either tourist coach or in private vehicles), as journey leads past many nice farm villages and town, from Mugling Bazaar following Trisuli River for sometimes, and then on winding uphill to reach into Kathmandu valley as well back to your respective hotels. 

Day 13

Depart Nepal for international flight home-ward bound.

Last day in the country of Himalayan wonders, after an amazing experience and wonderful memories of Annapurna Base Camp treks with great service of Nepal High-Point Trekking and then depart from the hotel as per your flight time our staff transfers you to Kathmandu international airport for your home-ward flight or to next respective countries.
